Hello!

I’m Tracy Tanner

I bring over 13 years of experience developing personal finance and investing curriculum, teaching students from ages 11 through adult, managing program schedules and staff, building partnerships, and overseeing funds. I have also mentored and coached more than 100 college students and adults through both life and financial situations. Through this work I’ve seen how poor money mindsets are prevalent across all ages and socioeconomic levels. While many nonprofits focus on underserved populations, a mission I also lead, I recognized a gap: our students from affluent backgrounds also need intentional guidance. Coming from wealth does not automatically prepare someone to navigate life responsibly. That’s where NextUp Success comes in!!

My Approach

Building Trust

I know students learn best when they feel safe to ask questions and explore openly. I create a collaborative, judgment-free environment where they can engage honestly with money and decision-making.

Developing Confidence

Through case studies and real-world scenarios, I guide students to practice making choices and seeing outcomes. This gives them the self-assurance to face complex financial situations and life decisions independently.

Gaining Knowledge

I use hands-on activities and guided discussions to turn concepts into practical skills. From financial literacy to leadership, every lesson is designed to connect theory with lived experience — preparing students for the real responsibilities of wealth and life.
